The newest addition to my collection of wandering adventures is an inflatable kayak, and with summer in full swing, I’ve been taking advantage of this stretch of hot weather to paddle – three times on the Shenandoah and once at Lake Greenbrier in Maryland. After these few trips, I think I’ve finally mastered the whole routine of inflating, deflating, folding, packing, and even improving my strokes.
Admittedly, most kayak photos look remarkably alike, but please enjoy this small collection from my daytripping adventures. I even convinced a friend to come along for one trip. It was such fun to have another’s perspective on the activity!
